Someplace Like Home? Hunting for Life-Supporting Worlds

WISE J0855-0714 is a star that is seven light years away from our solar system that might have clouds that might be made out of water. Now, water is one of the most important factors for our continued existence. Now although 70 percent of the earths surface is made out of water only 3 percent is fresh water which we can drink and with the way that we are polluting our supply we will eventually run out. Now the discovery of stars and planets such as this one are important because it gives us different sources of water that we may gather more water from and also has something that make that body habitable for human life. This is also something that may lead towards finding life on other planets. With the way that technology is progressing we might soon be able to find more planets and stars like this one and be able to travel to them. Research like this is important because it might help us find resources that we are slowly using up and might be able to find out what else lies out in the rest of the galaxy.
